Discount Electronix - Return Policy

30-Day Hassle-Free Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Discount Electronix. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may return the product within 30 days of the original purchase date for a full refund or exchange.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be in its original condition, with all original packaging, manuals, and accessories included.
  • The item must be free from any physical damage, including scratches, dents, or signs of misuse.
  • The item must include the original proof of purchase (e.g., order number, receipt).

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for a return:

  • Digital downloads or software.
  • Gift cards.
  • Items explicitly marked as "final sale" or "as-is."
  • Any item that has been used, installed, or altered.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact me at erik@discountelectronix.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please provide your name, order number, and the reason for the return.
  2. Once you receive your RMA number, securely package the item and include the RMA number on the outside of the box.
  3. Ship the item to:

    • Bristol, Virginia 24201

  1. We will provide the shipping label in cases where the item is defective (I.E. dead on arrival, disk drive isn't working). 

Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you via email of the status of your refund. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment. You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item, please follow the return process and place a new order for the desired item.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund, including shipping costs.
